A New Laboratory in Goris State Agricultural College

"Milk and Dairy Technology" experimental laboratory was opened in Goris State Agricultural College, which will enable students to combine theoretical and practical knowledge and acquire skills relevant to the requirements of the labor market. The laboratory was established within the "Vocational Education and Training Development in Syunik Region" program which has been realized by the "Agency of Strategic Development" NGO since 2016, in cooperation with Swiss partners HEKS/EPER (Swiss Church Aid) and the Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences (HAFL) school organizations of the University of Applied Sciences in Bern.
The Head of Primary / Vocational / Secondary Vocational Education Departments of RA Ministry of Education and Science Artak Aghbalyan, Vice-Chairman Irina Yolyan, the Project Manager of "Vocational Education and Training Development in Syunik Region" program Lilit Hovhannisyan as well as the Director of Goris State Agricultural College Nune Avetisyan delivered welcoming speeches at the event. Representatives of the Syunik Regional Administration, representatives of The Goris municipality, employers, NGO representatives, lecturers, students and other guests were present at the occurrence. After the official opening ceremony, the participants toured the laboratory.
