The Minister declared to exclude inappropriate money collection in schools.

On August 27, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan had a discussion in Gegharkunik provincial administration with the directors of public and high schools. The governor of Gegharkunik region Ishkhan Sakhatelyan was among the participants.
During the meeting, the Minister presented 2018-2019 academic year reforms related to school books and curriculum.
The Minister highlighted the selection of school directors, licensing, competitions among teachers as means of improving management of schools. The Minister urged directors to exclude inappropriate money collection in schools and mandatory uniforms. "Dear directors I ask you to act in accordance to laws and regulations. The ministry is your partner organization, and we should work together to improve the educational system" said the Minister.
The Minister also mentioned the importance of the preliminary job for implementing inclusive education in regions by 2020. During the discussion, the Minister also answered to directors' questions.
