The Engineering City Project Progress was Introduced to Nikol Pashinyan

Today Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Engineering City in Yerevan, although in its construction phase, the city has already hosted several high-tech companies.
The Prime Minister was shown the City’s blueprint and the latest engineering solutions and manufacturing models of the companies operating here. It is envisaged to build engineering-focused schools in "the City" and do research.The City will consist of fieldwork, manufacturing and education sectors. A children's technopark is under construction.
The Engineering City is being created within the framework of public-private cooperation.
According to the plan, training will be conducted for 1500 professionals, 2000 employment opportunities will be created, Start Up companies will be founded, the quality of products by organizations will be raised, and the rate of export will be increased.
The project will be built on a plot of land on Bagrevand Street in Yerevan. Land allocation will be done soon.
Private companies, dealing with engineering, have already set up an Engineering center, an Engineering library, and Museums of Space, Science and Technologies on the site of the Engineering City. The Premier toured the aforementioned museums and got acquainted with the exhibits. Highlighting the effective implementation of the program, Nikol Pashinyan stressed that the high-tech industry is among the key driving forces behind the country’s economy. The development of high-tach industries, the IT and experimental sectors in Armenia will be the spotlight of the Government, assured the Prime Minister.
Arayik Harutyunyan, the RA Minister of Education and Science, also participated in the event.
