Issues Requiring Urgent Solutions Were Discussed

"It is obvious that incidents of inappropriately collecting funds from students in schools has decreased. However, it is possible that there will still be similar occurrences with the approach of September 1 when schools reopen. It should be made clear that schools have no authority to impose on students’ specific dress codes, however, the parent-teacher association can come to a unanimous decision on the uniformity of the clothes to be worn inside the schools", said the Minister who was also interested to know what issues the Regions of the republic were facing that were in need of dire attention.
The education administrations of the Regions basically focused on issues regarding, working hours, school finances, "Folk Dance and Song" subject, Personnel Recruitment in border communities, curriculum, foreign language instruction, and reevaluating food served in school cafeterias. Discussed were also issues concerning text books and licensure.
At the meeting, the sides reflected on the preliminary discussions that were held in August.
