Arayik Harutyunyan Receives the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan received the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Kazem Sajjad.
While welcoming the guests, Arayik Harutyunyan mentioned that there are friendly relationships between Iran and Armenia in the field of education and science too and that there are enough grounds to discuss future joint projects. "Of course, we are going to stick with the previous memorandums and the responsibilities originated from them. However, we are ready to discuss any new projects that will develop education and science in Iran and Armenia," stated the Minister.
Ambassador Seyyed Kazem Sajjad greeted Minister Harutyunyan and said that Iran is ready to develop current educational and scientific partnerships. The ambassador stated that the progress of the relationships between the countries depends on the development of scientific, educational and interuniversity relationships. He confirmed, that the government of Iran is ready to give Armenians doctoral allotments in Iranian universities. The ambassador also officially invited the Minister to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the growth of interuniversity relationships, an exchange program between students and professors,, Persian language instruction in Armenia, the cooperation in nanotechnologies and other ensuing inquiries.
