Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan Addresses the Participants of the 8th Pan-Armenian Educational Conference
2018-08-02
I sincerely welcome the participants, guests and organizers of the 8th Pan-Armenian Educational Conference.
I am enthused that Armenia gathered together from abroad, aficionados on issues of Armenian education and nurture, of teachers and officials of national education.
Each educational institution in the Diaspora does not spare efforts to preserve the Armenian language, the Armenian intellect, spoken and written language. Our cultural identity is one of the most important constituents of national security, and a serious State policy is required to maintain and develop it.
At the same time, our goal is to provide education that meets the world's leading educational standards that will edify an advanced and developed generation. Issues related to educational-methodological support, educational standards, projects of Armenian Studies Departments abroad, and efficacious international cooperation should be considered and respectively resolved. The next stage of the RA Government needs to be more individual and earmarked.
I am convinced that such conferences will contribute to the further strengthening of the Armenia-Diaspora relations in the domain of education and the implementation of new joint programs.
I wish the participants of the conference productive and constructive work, to enhance the quality of education and preserve the Armenian identity.
