Arayik Harutyunyan was Presented with a New Proposal Regarding the Development of the "Armat" Educational Curriculum

The “Armat" engineering group-labs can become the latest line of the Armenian education system. At this time, the "Armat" group of laboratories are embedded in 225 schools in Armenia, where more than 5,000 students study engineering. The program is in great demand and has a potential to expand.
The Executive Director of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), Karen Vardanyan presented a new proposal for the development of the educational curriculum of the"Armat" laboratories, as well as brief information about the program's efficiency and achievements at the meeting with Arayik Harutyunyan, the RA Minister of Education and Science.They particularly discussed the results of traditionally organized unmanned aerial vehicles, robots transferring and classifying goods, 3D modeling, as well as the results of "Armat" students who participated in various internationally held contest.
A. Harutyunyan, the Minister of Education and Science, stated that among the priorities of the Government of Armenia, is the improvement of quality based IT education and the training of a competitive workforce. In saying that, the Minister added the necessity to estimate the required investments and the expected result.
