Autumn holidays in state schools

Autumn holidays will kick off on October 24 in all the public schools of theRepublic. According to the "Curriculums for 2016-2017 academic years for secondary, basic general, specialized and special educational institutions implementing state programs” 2016-2017 State implementing a model curriculum for the academic year" students in grades 2-12 will be on autumn holiday from October 31, 2016 to November 6, 2016 inclusive. First – grade students’ autumn holidays will last from October 24 to November 6 inclusive.
On the initiative of the institution the competent authorized body can make changes in the vacation period for the institutions subordinated by the Ministry of Education and Science, territorial administration body. At least 5 working days prior to the changes the authorized body reconciles the alterations with the Ministry of Education.
