The Acting New Rector should Triple and Quadruple her Efforts. Arayik Harutyunyan

The acting Minister of Education and Science, Arayik Harutyunyan, has introduced the acting Rector, Sona Hovhannisyan, to the academic staff of Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan. Arayik Harutyunyan has noted that the academic system cannot evade the process of reforms originated in the Republic and the changes, taking place at the Conservatory, are also vital in that context. “The acting new Rector should triple and quadruple her efforts so that serious successes be recorded at the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan. Sona Hovhannisyan is an important figure in the area of Music Arts and does not need any further introduction. Her achievements in the sphere of Music Arts, when she was managing the choir “Hover” assure us that Mrs. Hovhannisyan will find the solution to all the problems that the Conservatory faces. We hope that she will invest her knowledge and skills into the success of the Conservatory”- Arayik Harutyunyan has noted and added at the end that the Ministry of Education and Science will not spare any effort within the framework of its authorities and liabilities, so as to achieve serious results at the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan. Moreover, in his speech, Arayik Harutyunyan has thanked the former Rector, Shahen Shahinyan, for the years of work carried out at the university and has highlighted at the end that the former Rector has generally found the key to current problems.
The acting Rector, Sona Hovhannisyan, has also thanked the former Rector of the University for his work. In her speech, she has specified the creation of the favorable aura in the work. “We live in a transitional period and, in this regard, the natural arrangement of the process is very important. Each person brings his aura and creates his environment. It is of crucial importance that all of us treat that process in a peaceful and frank cooperation”- has concluded Sona Hovhannisyan.
As a reminder, the former Rector of the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan, Shahen Shahinyan, has resigned and Sona Hovhannisyan, the founding Director of the choir “Hover” and RA Honored artist, has been nominated as an acting Rector under the instruction of the Minister of Education and Science.
