The Growth of Human Capital is a Future-Oriented Investment, Says A. Anapiosyan

Arevik Anapiosyan, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, hosted Lire Ersado, the directive of the Human Development Program of World Bank in the South Caucasus, Europe and Central Asia. At the meeting, they discussed the WB Human Capital project, where Armenia joined in July of this year thus becoming one of the early investors of the said project. In this very stage, the project implementation team aims at considering the Human Capital Index of Armenia - education being one of its key components. In her speech, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science emphasized the necessity of effective policies for the development of the human capital in the field of education and science, also stressing that this is one of the priorities of the Government of Armenia. In this context, A. Anapiosyan emphasized that any step aimed towards the growth of human capital is a future-oriented investment.
