Yerevan N 62 School Renamed after Tatul Krpeyan

According to RA Government decision Yerevan N 62 high school was renamed after national hero, the commander of the self-defense battle of Getashen during Artsakh liberation war Tatul Krpeyan in honor of hero’s 50th anniversary. A ceremony was organized on this occasion, which was attended by RA MES deputy minister Manuk Abeghyan and other officials. M. Abeghyan stressed that renaming the school after the hero pursued not only the purpose of honoring the memory of Tatul Krpeyan, but also it played a great role in the development of a value system of the younger generation.
“One can be a hero at any time, war is simply a pretext, but a hero is needed at all times to devote himself to the country, to the nation and state. I want to congratulate particularly the students of this school, as Tatul is the character, who can have a deep impact in shaping your personality”, M. Abeghyan mentioned in his congratulatory speech.
Tatul’s brother was present at this event too and wished everyone to be a devotee like his brother and to defend our territories, our victories an homeland.
