Ministry of Science and Education and Junior Achievements of Armenia extend partnership

On October 17, 2015, Armen Ashotyan, Minister of Education and Science of Armenia and Armine K.Hovannisian, Executive Director of Junior Achievement of Armenia extended their Cooperative Agreement for another five years, until 2020. The Agreement emphasizes the importance of educating the youth on the basics of free market economics and provides the MInistry's assistance to Junior Achievement in implementing the program in 150 schools throughout Armenia. The organization has developed manuals referring to the economic, entrepreneurship and civic education.
Minister highlighted the importance of joint efforts between state institutions and private sector and stressed that the Ministry of Education and Science cooperates with NGO-s in various formats.
The ceremony took place at the Golden Tulip Hotel in the presence of the Ministry representatives and school administrators and teachers.
